A wedding on the hills filled of love
Usually I told stories of weddings in Venice or other famous locations in Italy. This time I’d like to tell about a wedding on the hills, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It was a wonderful day, better to say a journey filled of love!

I met Lucia and Tiziano thank’s to Lucia’s father, he is a friend of mine and a great printmaker. I showed them some books of my works and they will be very happy to confirm the assignment.
Bride and groom chose the Castle of Buttrio for their wedding experience. The theme of the wedding on the hills was wine. Buttrio is in the middle of “Collio” a particular zone of the region where they make the “friulano” wine. Collio is a little area between Italy and Slovenia, famous for the hills and the white wine.
As usual, also in this wedding on the hills, I arrived very early. I met Lucia during her preparation with the hair stylist an we had the opportunity to talk a bit. I love these moments, are the door for her emotions and her expectations.
Before ceremony emotions are palpable, for both the bride and the groom…and not to mention the father of the bride, he was in another dimension.
The hills were also the frame of portraits after ceremony. We spent a gorgeous moment together to take portraits of the newlyweds. Castel of Buttrio gave me the opportunity to change some situations: sometimes elegant, other rustic and other bucolic.
The wedding day was planned by Gloria Bettuzzi Wedding Planner and Il Platina Catering. I’m very glad to work with them, the day had a perfect organization for get a great photoshoot.
