During the Wedding Day, the  wedding photographer is a storyteller and I’m a wedding photographer in Venice. Thus my job is to tell stories, happy stories from the most beautiful city in the world. To be honest, not only from Venice, but from every single place in the world. I look for beautiful people in love that celebrate their love.

This time I’d like to talk about Sophie and Lewis from England. They booked me almost two years before their Wedding Day. I had to ask  their wedding planner (Casa Collina Events) to remind me the date of the wedding several times times as it was so far ahead of their wedding. Time flew by, and finally the 29th June 2019  arrived !

The location they chose was the JW-Marriott island in Venice. It is an awesome venue and I love to work there. All the staff are kind and attentive to every detail. All places are great, both interiors and exteriors.

The Wedding day I met Sophie in her suite during her preparations. She was a little bit nervous but at the same time she had a wonderful light in her eyes – it was sheer happiness. I took pictures here with Sophie alone and then together with her lovely bridesmaids and then we go to the ceremony. The ceremony area was decorated with a beautiful arch, white carpet and flowers and a view of the lagoon in the background.  All details were just perfect. 

Sophie and Lewi’s story start with their daughter Penelope. I can talk about dresses, decorations, locations and moments of their wedding day, but the most important thing to talking about is the love. In every wedding story the protagonist is the love. I can’t talk about love with words, just please look at the photos attached to this post and “listen” to the words of love…
